This page is intended to provide information that will enhance the Reunion experience by improving your personal comfort and increased the interaction of all attendees.  We will be glad to add to these as new ideas come into the Message Boards.

1. Bring Sun Screen -  Northern Michigan in June can have days with a high UV Index.  Solar exposure on the day trips or at the campgrounds on the water could be high with many hours outdoors.

2.  Bring a flashlight - With no electricity in the dormitories a flashlight is a necessity for finding your way in, or out, at night.  A trip to the bathroom will require one too!

3.  Bring insect repellent - Michigan's North woods are infamous for their mosquitos and black flies during the summer months.

4.  Bring Photo's and Albums - Any old reunion photos and family photos will be shared by all.  It really helps if they are labeled with names and their descriptions of what they include.

5.  Bring games - A good game can add a lot of interaction during a rainy afternoon (not that we are going to have any :).  Sunny days can do likewise with a rousing game of soccer, badmitten, croquet or softball.  Even a beach volleyball game could develop some friendly international participation.

6.  Bring your Musical Instruments - In 2004 the Swedes organized a little ad-hoc band to play for the enjoyment of all.  It would be nice if the Americans could reciprocate and maybe a few Swedes would even join in!

7.  As part of the Michigan State Park system, any motor vehicle entering is required to have a State Park Motor Vehicle Permit properly displayed on the windshield.  If you do not have one, these permits can be purchased at the Park entrance.  The cost is $24.00 for Michigan Residents; and $29.00 for non Michigan Residents.  This is an Annual Permit good for any Michigan State Park during 2008, and is less costly than purchasing daily permits for the entire reunion.
